The Posterior Ligament of the Elbow

This posterior ligament is attached to the humerus bone and the lateral epicondyle. It plays an important role in helping stabilize the elbow joint.

The posterior ligament is involved in many sports related injuries, most commonly, tennis elbow. To treat tennis elbow, one must try to reduce the pain and inflammation by decreasing stress and abuse on the injured elbow.
