CPR Adult
Flash Card 10

(30 Compressions per 2 breaths)

Thrust straight down on the chest (1 ½ to 2 inches) with each and every compression. Do not be afraid to push hard and keep your compressions in a fast, rhythmic fashion. Compressions should be made at an approximate  rate of 100 per minute.

Give the victim 30 compressions at an approximate rate of 100 per minute and then give two breaths. Make sure your compressions are full by releasing pressure on the chest, allowing it to return to its normal position.

Keep giving sets of 30 compressions and 2 breaths until someone brings the AED, the victim starts to move, or trained help takes over.
